Instagram Introduces New Feature to Create Stickers from Still Image Posts
Instagram has added a new option that enables users to create stickers from still image posts, allowing for more creativity in Stories and Reels. The feature, called “Create a cutout sticker,” can be accessed through the three dots menu on publicly posted still image posts. Once activated, Instagram’s system will identify the focus entity in the image, which can then be saved as a separate sticker. However, there are some limitations, such as the requirement for the post to be public and the original poster allowing others to create cutouts from their content. Additionally, if the original post is deleted, any stickers created from it will also be lost. Nevertheless, the new feature offers exciting possibilities for users to personalize their content and explore new visual possibilities in the app. It will be interesting to see if this feature gains popularity and if users start creating their own custom stickers from posts.
