Instagram Launches “Add Yours” Templates for Custom Quizzes and Prompts
Instagram has introduced a new feature called “Add Yours” templates, which allows users to create their own custom quizzes and prompts for their Stories. This feature enables users to develop re-usable versions of their Stories formats, providing a way to spark engagement based on specific, selected parameters.
To create an “Add Yours” template, users can add GIFs, text, or images to their Story and then select the “Add Yours Templates” option from the sticker tray. They can choose the elements they want to pin as part of their template. Instagram also offers its own templates, which users can use as a base or for inspiration by tapping the dice icon at the bottom of the composer screen.
Once the template is created and posted to the user’s Story, it will display an “Add Yours” prompt, inviting viewers to share their own take on the same template. This new feature could potentially tap into a whole new set of trends, as Instagram’s billion-plus users have the opportunity to create their own templates, leading to new prompts and engagement options.
The “Add Yours” option is available in the latest version of the Instagram app.
