Meta Enhances Advantage+ Catalog Ads with Automated Targeting Elements

Meta is removing the “Audience Types” option for Advantage+ catalog ads with the sales objective as part of its automated ad targeting elements push. Advertisers can still retarget ads and find prospective customers using catalog custom audiences. Meta’s Advantage+ catalog ads highlight relevant products based on user interests, intent, and actions, and offer additional personalization for better performance. While the option to target based on different audience types is being removed, advertisers can still create catalog custom audiences to retarget interested shoppers.
