Meta Launches New Automated Video Ad Option for Catalog Product Ads

Meta has announced the rollout of a new, automated video ad option for Catalog Product Ads, allowing advertisers to now include video assets in their product listings. Previously known as “Dynamic ads”, Catalog Product Ads enable brands to showcase their entire product catalog on Meta’s platform, targeting users based on their interests or previous interactions. The addition of video to these ads provides a more engaging format for promotions, tapping into the popularity of video content on Facebook and Instagram. Meta advises brands to keep their video elements short and be aware of “safe zones” to ensure optimal display. Catalog Product Ads are now available to all advertisers via Advantage+.
