Instagram is testing a new “Achievements” display in its app to incentivize creators and give them badges for reaching engagement milestones.

The badges are based on metrics such as post likes, reels plays, accounts reached with stories, follower count, and lifetime number of posts, reels, and stories.

Instagram is hoping that these achievement badges will encourage creators to post more frequently and keep them motivated, similar to Snap Streaks on Snapchat.
