The Reel Optimizer
Instagram surfaces Reels in search as well as in the feed, and the caption is most of what it has to go on. The Optimizer works on the words, not on hashtag volume.

What it changes
It suggests a caption built around the terms your audience would type, keeping the opening line doing its real job of earning the next second of attention.
It will not pad a caption with tags. The Podscore rubric penalises more than five hashtags, and stuffing them is one of the signals the shadowban scan watches for.
How it relates to Podscore
The Optimizer proposes; Podscore grades. Running a rewrite through the rubric is the fastest way to see whether a suggestion actually improved the caption or just made it longer.
Common questions
Do Instagram Reels show up in search?
Yes — Reels surface in Instagram search and increasingly in web search, and the caption is the main text signal available. That is what the Reel Visibility Optimizer works on.
