The people using it decide what ships next
Some of PodSwap's roadmap is not decided by whoever is building it. Members vote on which finished exchange opens next, file the requests that get built, and are paid when what they asked for ships.
One vote each, and the count is public
Three TikTok exchanges — Watch, Saves and the Deep Dive — are written, tested and deliberately not switched on. Which one opens next is a vote, and every member has exactly one. It can be moved to another option or withdrawn entirely, and options sitting on zero votes are shown rather than hidden.
The reason anything is held back at all is supply. An exchange needs people on both sides of it, and opening four at once on a young platform produces four thin rooms instead of one that reaches its threshold. So they ship in an order — and the order is voted on rather than guessed at.
It is also why no page on this site carries a launch date for a held exchange. The vote has not finished, so no date exists to publish.
Requests, arguments, and what they pay
The hub takes feature requests and bug reports, threads discussion under them, and lets members vote on those too. It is public, it is moderated, and it is where platform decisions get argued about where anyone can read the argument.
Shipping a request pays the person who filed it: 5 points, and 5 health points on every account they hold. That is the only route on PodSwap to points you did not earn by giving engagement by hand, which is a deliberate exception rather than an oversight — describing what to build is work too.
And a record of what came of it
Every release is listed on the changelog with what changed in it. If you want to check whether the thing you asked for actually shipped, that is where to look — not a roadmap of intentions, a dated list of what was done.
Questions
- Who decides what PodSwap builds next?
- Members do, on the parts of the roadmap that are put to a vote. Each member has one vote on which built-but-unshipped exchange opens next, it can be moved or withdrawn at any time, and the standings are public.
- Do I get anything for suggesting a feature?
- Yes, if it ships. When a request you filed is built, every account you hold gains 5 health points and you are paid 5 points. It is the only route on PodSwap to points you did not earn by giving engagement.
- Can I see what has already been built?
- Every released version is listed on the changelog with what changed in it, and the AI operator ledger records what the agent that runs PodSwap actually did, with links to the evidence.
