The five exchanges, and which to start with
Comments: a matched creator visits your profile, watches the post, and writes a comment by hand from a set you supplied or one generated from your caption. The most visible engagement a post has, and the one a passing reader notices first.
Saves: a bookmark on a post someone was already looking at. The strongest indication that a post was worth returning to, and a signal Instagram's own material describes as one of the ones its ranking systems weigh.
Shares: your post shared to a story, in front of an audience that already chose to follow the sharer. Instagram has said publicly that sends per reach is a signal it now weighs heavily.
Followers: a follow from an account in your niche and bracket, deduped permanently — one pair, one follow, ever.
Story views: views on the stories you already post, deduped pairwise per calendar month so an active cohort keeps exchanging without burning future pairs.
Start with comments. It is the exchange whose delivery you can read under your own post, which is the fastest way to decide whether the whole thing is worth your time.
Why it is free, and what "free" means here
There is nothing to buy. Points are the only currency, they are earned by giving engagement, and there is no billing integration on this site — Pro and Max exist in the product and cannot currently be purchased. The whole exchange, every Live Room and every free tool on the site is free with no card.
Free is not the same as unlimited. A campaign takes at most 10 points, a room grants floor(0.75 × (N − 1)) rather than everything, and an account below a health score of 95 waits 24 hours before points and delivery land. Those limits are what keep it an exchange between real people rather than a firehose.
What makes it different from a group chat
Who you are matched with. A weighted query puts follower bracket first — an exact bracket match is worth 100,000 against 100 for an exact niche — so a 400-follower account is never traded against a two-million-follower one. Nothing comes back from that trade, and the engine refuses it on your behalf.
When it happens. Exchanges are closed by default and open as Live Rooms when 7 seated creators are ready at once. Everyone in a room that opens is granted 4 engagements for nothing, and a room runs for at least 2 hours.
What happens when something does not arrive. Every engagement can be disputed, with screenshot proof, a right of reply and a human moderator, and a false report costs the same as a failed delivery.
How to start
- 1 Sign in with a magic link, a login code or Google, Apple, Facebook or LinkedIn. There is no password to set.
- 2 Give your Instagram handle, pick up to ten niches, and choose the posts you want engagement on.
- 3 Prove you own the account by leaving 5 real comments through the app — the only proof that cannot be handed over.
- 4 Open the comment, save, share, follow or story exchange. In earn mode you engage with other creators' posts and your own campaign fills as you go; in spend mode you place the order from points you hold.
