The signal behind "my hashtags stopped working". If tagged posts consistently do worse than untagged ones, the tags are either attracting the wrong audience or are not being served at all.

The exact rule
Posts carrying hashtags underperform your overall average by more than 40%, measured across at least three posts on each side.
What to do about it
- Drop to exactly five specific tags. The Podscore rubric scores zero for more than five, and broad tags are the ones most likely to be filtered.
- Remove any generic tag — #love, #viral, #instagood and their relatives are the usual culprits.
- Post twice without tags at all. If reach recovers, the tags were the problem.
