Pods
Telegram pods, Discord pods, and an app instead
Most Instagram pods and TikTok pods live in a Telegram, Discord or WhatsApp chat because a chat is free and instant. It is also the wrong tool: a chat cannot match you with creators of your size and subject, cannot space engagement out, cannot check that anything was delivered, and cannot settle a dispute. PodSwap is an app built to do exactly those four things — weighted matching, Live Rooms and pacing rails, ownership proved by five comments, and a dispute with a human moderator — for five Instagram exchanges and the open TikTok comment exchange. It is free.

How a chat pod actually runs
Someone makes a group and posts rules: engage with the last N links before posting yours, within an hour, no emoji-only comments, screenshots on request. Members drop links. An admin, or nobody, checks. Within weeks the active core is a dozen accounts trading with each other daily while the rest lurk, and the admin either starts charging or leaves.
Telegram pods scale to thousands because Telegram lets them, which makes the wrong-audience problem worse rather than better. Discord pods add channels per niche, which helps a little and still leaves size unmatched. Instagram DM pods are capped at 32 people and get muted. None of them has a way to know whether a comment was actually left.
The four things a chat cannot do
Match. A chat cannot know that a 2,000-follower account and a 400,000-follower account are useless to each other, or that a cooking account and a crypto account should not be trading. PodSwap runs a weighted query where an exact follower-bracket match is worth 100,000 and an exact niche 100, and serves you the single highest-scoring post.
Pace. A chat produces bursts by design: the link drops and everyone acts. PodSwap opens exchanges as Live Rooms on a headcount of 7 ready creators, grants floor(0.75 × (N − 1)) rather than everything, and on TikTok spaces every action 45 to 210 seconds apart with a daily cap of 40.
Verify. A chat has screenshots. PodSwap proves you own an account by having you leave 5 real comments through the app, reads TikTok comments back from the video's own comment list, and holds points for 24 hours when an account's health score is below 95.
Settle. A chat has an admin with an opinion. PodSwap has a dispute with screenshot proof, a right of reply, a human moderator, and penalties that run both ways — a false report costs the same as a failed delivery.
What a chat does that an app should not
Let you pick your partners. Choosing who engages with you is how a pod stops being a match and becomes an arrangement between the same few accounts — which is both detectable and useless. On PodSwap you never choose your matches and they never choose you.
Charge money. Paid pods sell access to a chat. PodSwap sells nothing: points are earned by giving engagement and there is no billing integration on the site.
How to start
- 1 Sign in with a magic link, a login code or Google, Apple, Facebook or LinkedIn. There is no password to set.
- 2 Give your Instagram handle, pick up to ten niches, and choose the posts you want engagement on.
- 3 Prove you own the account by leaving 5 real comments through the app — the only proof that cannot be handed over.
- 4 Open the comment exchange. In earn mode you comment on other creators' posts and your own campaign fills as you go; in spend mode you place the order from points you hold.
- 5 When 7 matched creators are ready at once the room opens, and everyone in it is granted 4 engagements at no cost. PowerSwap is open in between, whatever the hour.
Common questions
Is PodSwap a Telegram pod?
No. It is a web and Android app with a matching engine, Live Rooms, pacing rails, ownership verification and a dispute process. There is no chat to join and nobody to ask for a link.
Are Telegram pods safe?
They produce the two things detection is built to find — the wrong audience and a burst from the same accounts — and offer nothing to check that anything happened. The safety page sets out where the line actually is.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser, with an Android app if you want one. You sign in without a password.
Which platforms?
Instagram, with five exchanges open, and TikTok, where the comment exchange is open and three more are built and held for a member vote.
