How the TikTok side works
TikTok and Instagram on PodSwap, compared
Instagram is the full product: five exchanges open, PowerSwap, and every free tool on this site. TikTok is open with one of four exchanges shipped, PowerSwap offered, the same five-comment verification, the same 7-creator threshold and the same points rates — plus a set of pacing and realism rails that Instagram does not have, because TikTok publishes per-video view counts and reads a burst differently.

What is the same
Proof of ownership: 5 real comments through the app, run by the same wizard. No password and no official API on either.
Rooms: every exchange on both platforms opens at 7 ready creators and grants floor(0.75 × (N − 1)) — 4 at the minimum. One rule across both platforms was chosen over two ladders that were guesswork.
Points: 7 actions per point on Free, 6 on Pro, 5 on Max; one point buys 5 engagements at the base rate; PowerSwap pays one better on every tier. The comment exchanges are priced identically because they are one product on two platforms.
Trust: engagements from an account below a health score of 95 stand for 24 hours before they count; disputes carry screenshot proof, a right of reply and a human moderator, and false reports cost the same as failed delivery.
What TikTok has that Instagram does not
A delivery ceiling: no video receives more than 30% of the reach it earned on its own. It exists because TikTok publishes per-video view counts and Instagram does not, so there is a number to read the ceiling against.
Action-mix ceilings: saves at 25% of a video's views and comments at 8%, with a floor of 2. A quarantine of 14 days and 5 videos before a new account can bank points. And the pairing rule: a save is only ever the second half of a watch-then-save pair, where on Instagram a save stands alone.
Watch pricing that is not flat — a duration band times a rewatch tier — and a handle-reclaim guard, because TikTok releases an abandoned handle after 30 days and Instagram does not.
What Instagram has that TikTok does not
Four more open exchanges — Shares, Saves, Follows and Stories — against TikTok's one. Three of TikTok's four are built and held for a member vote.
A follow exchange, which on TikTok was assessed and deliberately not built.
Every free tool on this site, the creator directory, the health scanner and the niche guides, all of which are calibrated on Instagram data and would be a lie relabelled for TikTok.
Which to start with
The platform you post on. Points do not carry across — every exchange keeps its own balance on both platforms — so there is nothing to be gained by earning on one to spend on the other. A member with both connects both, and one login runs all of it.
Common questions
Does PodSwap work on TikTok?
Yes, in part. You can connect a TikTok account and use the comment exchange and PowerSwap. Watch, Saves and Deep Dive are built and have not shipped; members vote on which opens next.
Do TikTok and Instagram points share a balance?
No. Every exchange keeps its own balance, on both platforms.
Can I use one login for both platforms?
Yes. Several accounts on either platform sit under one login, and you switch between them without signing out.
Why are the TikTok limits stricter?
Because TikTok publishes per-video view counts, which gives both TikTok and PodSwap a number to read a burst against, and because a save with no watch time behind it is a fingerprint on TikTok in a way it is not on Instagram. The Instagram rails are on their own page.
