Trust & safety
Is PodSwap safe?
No password, no API, no automation — and an honest account of the three exchanges nobody can verify.
The short answer
Every engagement is performed by a person, by hand, inside the Instagram app. PodSwap never logs in as you, never asks for your password, and does not use the official Instagram API. It reads your public profile the way anyone visiting it would.
The risk profile is therefore the risk profile of using Instagram normally, because that is literally what is happening. There is no automation to detect.
What we cannot verify
Instagram exposes no third-party signal for saves, shares to story, or story views. Those three exchanges are self-reported by the person performing them, and we do not describe them as verified anywhere on this site.
Comments and follows leave a public trace and can be checked.
What stands behind the unverifiable three is the health score and the dispute pipeline: a 0–100 trust score per account, a 24-hour hold below 95, and a human moderator for escalations.
What would be unsafe
Anything that asks for your Instagram password. There is no legitimate reason for a growth tool to have it.
Anything that follows or unfollows on your behalf — that behaviour is one of the seven signals our own scanner watches for, because it is one of the most reliably actioned.
Any service selling engagement from accounts that are not real people. Bought engagement does not reciprocate and does not compound.
Common questions
Are Instagram engagement pods safe?
A pod is only as safe as its mechanism. PodSwap performs no automation — every engagement is done by a person by hand in the Instagram app — and never asks for your password or uses the official API. What carries risk is automation, bought engagement, and mass follow/unfollow behaviour.
Will using PodSwap get me banned?
Nothing PodSwap does is distinguishable from using Instagram normally, because that is what happens: a person opens the app and leaves a comment. There is no script, no login and no API access.
Does PodSwap need my Instagram password?
No. You supply a username. PodSwap reads the public profile and verifies ownership by asking you to leave five real comments through the app.
