Engagement-rate divergence

The comparison that distinguishes suppressed distribution from content that simply underperformed.

Take likes plus comments plus shares plus saves, divided by views, for recent videos and for a baseline window, and divide one middle value by the other.

A ratio at or above 1.15 means the people who saw it engaged more than usual — distribution was cut and the content is fine. Below 0.70 means engagement collapsed alongside views, which is the recommendation system correctly declining to promote content people did not respond to.

It is the only check that answers the question view count cannot: were fewer people shown this, or did the same people scroll past?
